Double Reed Day 2006
Our Double Reed Day this year featured our very own "BSO All Stars." They were Richard Ranti, Associate Principal Bassoon; Suzanne Nelsen, Second Bassoon; Ronald Haroutunian, Principal Bassoon of the Boston Pops/Esplanade Orchestra; and Laura Ahlbeck, Principal Oboe of the Boston Pops/Esplanade Orchestra. Ayako Yoda provided expert accompanist support on the piano, and Jim Kirker once again presided over a display of the latest models of Fox oboes and bassoons.
